Writing

I am learning to write a recount about something I have done.

I can do this when: 

• I tell the teacher my story;
• I can draw a picture plan;
• I can copy the story and reread it.

Maths

WALT: identify numbers and match them with the numicon shape. We are also learning how to numbers from 1-10 in order.

I will know that I am successful when my recount includes:

• Who, what, where, when, why and how in my writing.
• I have drawn a picture that shows what my story is about.
• My story makes sense.

I am learning to make different shapes and objects using play dough.

I can do this when I use my counting skills to work out how many shapes are needed on a sheet.

Reading

I am learning to point to the words when I read.

I can do this when I read the right words and follow the text by pointing at each word.

Maths

I am learning to identify numbers from 0 to 10 by using numicon equipment. 

I can do this when I read the numbers and point to the right numbers when they are called out.
