Maori language week

WALT: create different shapes from our stars that reminds us about Matariki.

We can do this when:  we create the correct shape of a cluster of stars and work together as a team to do it.

I am learning to add 2 numbers together using numicon shapes to help me.

I can do that when:
  • I can answer the question correctly by working it out in my head or counting the numicon shapes.













I am learning to memorise numicon shapes 1-10.

I can do that when:
  • someone takes away one counter and I am able to point out the right one by making sure all the shapes are numbers 1-10.
  • I can talk about why I chose the specific shape.

  • I can copy the story and reread it.
